Hey everyone! My birthday is coming up here in four weeks. September 11 to be precise (anyone wanna send a pity check for having a sucky birthday then pm me, ). Anyways I was gonna ask for some stuff for my xB but was told I have an $80 limit. I was thinking of the weathertech bug deflector or window visors or the pie aux adapter. What else do you think I should ask for? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

I'd hold on to it. Save some more so you don't compromise with what you want.

Door sill enhancements or armrest.

Also, bB emblems are ~$20

de-vinyl the doors, get vent visors!

I have had both unvinyled and visors. Mine is now back with vinyl and unvisored. The vinyl looks better than paint and the vent visors detract from a clean look, IMO.

what does spacers do exactly?

Push the wheels out away from the center of the car, makes it look better.

Get a neat gear shift knob if you have a manual, eyelids are cool too.......

You could get a caliper painting kit. They cost like $15. However, if you have the steel wheels you probably wouldn't be able to see the painted calipers and drums.

You could do the Ebay short shifter for $38 shipped and then have some left over to get the vent visors. You could get a new shift knob. New pedals. I would just save the $80 for another time when I had a little more money to put with it and get what I REALLY want. Happy Birthday.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! A lot of them are going on my list. What about getting new bulbs for the headlights instead of the whole assembly? What should I ask for that will make the most improvement for the least money?

luminics bulbs are $25-35 and make a HUGE difference how your car looks. they have a blue headlight, and white one, and a yellow one.

www.luminics.com

ive run them since i got my car 4 months ago. all day all night and no blown bulbs, and they have a 1 year warranty

you would need H4 bulbs btw :P

If you care about your sound and you have an iPod, the aux input adapter is the best $60-75 you will ever spend. It is an easy mod and the stock head unit works perfectly with it (I have the PIE). The only problem I had was how to mount the plastic box to the firewall/ducting behind the radio--I used heavy duty stick on velcro (for rugs on hardwood floors, $3) and have never had a rattle. Makes it removable, which I wanted since my next mod is to hardwire the iPod connector into the car and free up my cigarette lighter.

We I get a chance, I'll take some pix about how I mounted the iPod right at the shifter level--that will take up your next $35, but it makes the iPod mounting look professional and saves your cupholders. (Which don't work very well, anyway).

I put the adapter near the top of my list because I have a plug-n-play sirius which is mounted in the coin cup in the dash. Check out my pics in my profile to see how I mounted it. I hope the adapter will work better than the fm modulator.

I would say OTG spacers. On xBs and xAs, the rear track is less than the front track. The spacers push the rear wheels out a bit so they are the same as the fronts. And only $65--with free shipping.
