Well, Talked to the dealer. They have the RS1 in the system finally and expect it , well, you know someday between now and then.

But, the damn thing in an Auto. :(

I don't really want the auto but could live with it, but I'd hate to spend $800 on an option I would rather not have to live with.

The same happened here. My dealer gave me a print out of dealers up to 3 hours away that were recieving 1.0's. I stated calling and found one 45 minutes away that still had a 5 speed available. I highly doubt any dealer will trade there 5 speed for an auto. Those things are just to rare. Good luck!

If you go to Toyota's web site, they have a dealer finder feature where you can list and print out dealers around a city or town. I did it several times for different towns in my region, and got phone numbers for all the dealers within a few hours of me. Unfortuntely, you will get lists of TOYOTA dealers, and many of them do not have a Scion francise. Good luck finding that stick.
