Hi, I'm the new guy! I'm Alex.

I'm getting an xB sometime soon and I wanted to stick my old 15's on it. I've seen some with 15's, but with tires that look way too small. I'm thinking the way to go is to get some fatties on my 15x7's like some all-season 205/60/15's. This car will just be your typical daily driving commuter. I would love to get a nice set of 17's, but I just don't see that happening until I pay the car off.

From reading posts here, I've come up with this basic, inexpensive suspension plan so far:

Old Volks - 15x7 +35, w/ 205/60/15's
Tein springs/stock shocks
15mm rear spacer/longer rear studs

Now what do you guys think? Would this be a nice fit?

I think that it would fill the wheel wells fine. I was toying with the idea of 205/65-15s on stock rims, but clearance is a question.

205/65s are bigger than a 19 inch wheel and tire package and if lowered 2 inches is impossible or you wont be able to turn or go over bumps.

i have 15" Volk Grp AV's. They're old looking 2-piece 5 stars.

Yeah. 205/65/15's sounds like it would be too big. 205/60's have a good plumpness to them already. maybe too much.

i did the math again and 205/55/15's are pretty even with stock...i think.

I might end up going with 205/55's since i had them on my SSR's once and they looked fat already.

Will the Tein springs be a nice drop for that setup?
