I know a lot about intakes and have checked the dyno'd results, but my question has nothing to do with power increase, look, install, or any of that. Here's MY question. Who, OH WHO, has the LOUDEST intake of the bunch. I've heard that the Weapon-R intake is pretty loud and that the AEM and Ingen intakes sound almost like stock. I want people to know I have an intake... even if it is the only mod I plan on doing. :wink: Seriously though, for those of you that are running intakes on your xB's, what do you think? I want my little 108hp (or 94 hp depending on dyno results) to sound mean! :twisted: Any suggestions??

Well, I do want the extra's that you get with an intake (hp gain, better fuel economy) I just want it to sound good.

I have heard the Blitz "hot air intake" is the loudest.... it's also the shortest.

i am also about to purchase an intake friday but dont know about the AEM anymore.. allot of dissapointed people have it! But its gorgeous and when you pop the hood! :shock: but i here the injen is awesome also !

they are definately cool looking.... i like the polished with the black filter...would look pimp on a bsp 8)

the intake sounds the loudest at full throttle, so just drive around like that and people will know.

Where can you get the blitz? I've read some stuff on it, but haven't seen much info about it. Where did you guys get your dragon intakes? Weapon-r.com has them on there for $130 something plus shipping, but I've seen them on e-bay for a bit cheaper. Do I dare risk it?? :wink:

from what I've seen the Blitz is definitely loud, compared to the AEM and Injen I've heard... as for where to get it?

i have the SPFR and it is DAMMMMM LOUD i love it

Even the k&n typhoon is loud. This is coming from an ex-nissan/honda tuner.

Are the SPFR and K&N intakes very difficult to install? I'm looking for something pretty plug and play. I don't remember where I read it, or even if it was accurate, but I thought you had to remove the entire bumper to install the AEM intake. Man, that's not something I want to do. Anyone?
