I waited 2 months for these Volk GT-U 17x8 +30. I wanted 18s but they didn't make it in our lug pattern  . It has a 63 mm lip thats almost 2 1/2 inches. Can't really tell with the lighting and gunmetal center. I will be getting tires on friday Nitto Neo Gens 215/40. It is going on a TCM XB!
Also picked up Tein S Techs. I will probably installed them on saturday if they arrive on time.

where did you get them from?

try asking whoever is mounting the wheels to mount the wheels with the face of the rim facing down and have them put small rags on the clamps that hold the rims so that when the tire is mounted atleast if they do scratch the lip its in the back of the rim instead of the front....nice wheels!

A good shop should know that. If you have to tell them....go somewhere else. Usually wheels with a decent lip have to be mounted like that.

Well got my Tein S-Tech installed. Me and My bro Installed the springs in under an hour. And the Volk GT-U are installed I am going to need spacers in the rear but haven't measured it yet. Most likely going to need 5mm or 15mm will see. Stereo system is up next.

No prob, bro the ride is very nice a lot softer then stock probably due to the lower spring rate. Before with the stock springs, you probably noticed how stiff it rides now it absorbs everything.

im running 15mm h&r spacers in the back with a 45mm offset.....i would go more then 5mm....5mm spacers are super thin....wont push the wheel out enough to notice

Depends if you are lowering the car. And if so, how much?

i doubt they will rub but just so you know, the wheels are NOT cheap 1000+

Maybe for 2 of them. Most Volks 2 piece wheels start at around 400+ per wheel.
