I was wandering about the trd exhaust does it sound like the typical coffee can rice burner exhuast or does it sound good

I was thinking of getting one but dont want the riced out honda civic sound

I am gonna get the TRD....It costs alot from the factory, but it sounds so G Damn good. It is worth it.
And down the line you can always get a muffler shop to put in a Mid Pipe.

BTW, for your information and others that don't yet know, the TRD axle back exhaust is the same as the Borla Exhaust for the tC... Borla makes it, TRD put's their label on it (or so I've read in several forums). Both exhausts are still pretty spendy.

 

I have the TRD with the Injen CAI and it sounds deep. I love the sound. Unfortuneately I am going to replace it with the Greddy Evo2 for a more straight thru exhaust and I am having a muffler shop in town build be a Mid pipe at 2.5" Shoudl sound good when its done.

 

I like mine.
It sounds louder after it's gotten hot. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that on those cool early morning take-offs to work. (My driveway is a pretty steep uphill climb)
BUT, after being on the highway a few hours...stop for gas/drinks...it's pretty loud. I don't know why...

 

the TRD exhaust is very nice sounding. its got a sorta deep racey sound to it. when the car is warmed up, then you'll hear the growl. i loved mine when it was on, but i needed something deeper, lol.
