yeah it finally happened to me I got rear ended yesterday and it jacked my hatch all up. luckily/unfortunatly I knew the person who hit me. we were coming from the beach and he wasnt really paying attention and his jeep smacked into the back of me. here is a pic of the damage could have been worse but it still sux. luckily it did no other damage then the hatch I checked double checked then checked again just to be sure and nothing. so he is just gonna buy me a new hatch and be done with it. so looks like im gettin a CF hatch now.lol enjoy the damage lmao

 

Dang man!! That "inhales" profusely!!, as my daughter would say.
Keep us posted how the replacement goes. CF should look great, as well as even help reduce noise somewhat???

A CF hatch will be nice. Just make sure you don't get one of those wavey ones. I've seen them and they don't look good. It could have surely been worse. Good luck!

yeah I think I am gonna go with the CF hatch from motor fx that way i know its good qaulity

 

$550+S&H is what the CF hatch runs. That does suck that it happend in the first place though.

lol eggie. no the camera came out unhurt. and I wasnt looking at the screen. even if I was I had nowhere to go. oh well looks like I will get CF out of it. now all i need is a friend to run into my fenders....lol j/k

hey how did you get your rear wiper motor out?

 

just take off your wiper then remove the rear cover on the interior and there is I think 3 or 4 10mm nuts to remove and unclip the wiring harness and it all comes right out. takes maybe 10 minutes tops. I put a reverse camera in mine to fill the hole

 

well I picked up the new hatch today and hopefully should have it on tomorrow if I can find someone to swap the glass for me. I will post up pics once I get it done.

 

It's never the white or yellow b's that get assended.
