I am going to try to construct some eyelids for my xa I will be using a resin mold to create the plastic peices and wanted to get some feedback on styling.

You might actuallt want to brong it down some...over the orange. I tried it like that and it just doesnt look right..it doesnt cover enough to even be considered an eyelid when your actually standing in front looking at it.

I also like the eyelids that SCI FIRE has up there, make those in black sand pearl and I'll purchase them! Especially if they are plastic... :lol:

What ever happened to BlueBat's xA eyelids... did i miss something? or did that not happen?! :?:

OK I went to work on them this evening they are a cross between the Gray one in Scifires pic and My version A it drops down over the Yellow turn signal about 1/3 and then down. I've taken pics of the start and I'll update the photoshopped page to include my final design.

its still gonna be a few days for the masters to harden then I need to set up the mold and pour the resin so I'll sow em when I can along the way!

Nope thats the Front End Mask you can buy from the dealer for $50 8) The rest will soon be protected by a clear bra.

anyone know where to order some eyelids. any kind, i really like the fabulous eyelids.

Look closely at the Fab eyelids. The bottom line of the eyelid is a perfect continuation of the curve of the bottom edge of the hood. That is why it looks so wicked, instead of sleepy or slanted or wide-eyed.

snaked my design on version d... looks exactly the same... like that style :D

anyways, you guys would want to head toward a real piece and not vinyl... i was the first one to use andy's first eyelid design. it looks nice from the front, but when you turn on the headlights you get light shinning out of side of the headlight towards the hood and grill cause they're not covered by the vinyl. if you get a real piece that is molded it will stop the light flooding through. vinyl is easy to mess with and get something going if you're trying to test a design. i tried a wrap around with that version d that werdna9 had posted, works on blocking the light.

don't have a pic of the lights on with andy's cause i took them off already, but from the front it looks sweet when the lights are off.
