Default Floormat holes...dealer wont replace them..SoCal guys help

Manhattan Beach Toyota has declined to replace my factory floormats that have worn through at 3500 miles. They claim their Toyota rep says that floormats are wear and tear items and do not fall into warranty replacement no matter how fast they wear out. I know a lot of you guys..and girls..have had you mats replaced. What Socal dealers have helped you out with this? Im looking for a new dealership as this one has let me down numerous times.

Ack..I know this probably belongs in the regional area, but I wanted to get more visiblility in general. I know I almost never look in the southwest section.

Dude,

I got my floormats replaced from them. Talk to Dane (sales), and tell him you talked to me. Also talk to Peter (services). Those guys are understanding and kool!! They will always help out. I did get the extended warranty though.

Wish I was closer-- Toyota/Scion of Redlands replaced mine without hesitation. Find another dealer local to you. That place doesn't deserve your business.

I bought the extended warranty too. FYI I was talking to Jerry who is the service and parts department manager. I talked to one of the service guys first and he said the parts dept told him no way. Ive left a message with South Bay Toyota already and I'll see what they can do. Theyre about 1 block from the Toyota/Scion corporate HQs so they will probably be a better place. MB Toyota took a couple tries to get my lip spoiler installed right and thats an easy install, so Im not too keen on thier work so far.

They know there is a problem because they have been redesigned with a plastic pad where your heel rest. We have replace one set already for a customer. Have the Parts deptarment or Customer Service Manager check with their regional sales rep. You may have to ride them a little but they should do it and it shouldn't cost you or them anything.

Thats exactly what they did and they claim the rep said no way. I wouldnt be suprised if he didnt do anything and just doesnt want to deal with it.

argue with them that the 05 floormats are defective. this is the reason why the rubber mat was added to the 06 model.

go to a different dealership if this doesn't help.

Default Rubber mats

Do any of you guys know of a good 3rd party rubber or carpet floor mat to fit in an XA? I just got mine yesterday and I decided against getting the Scion ones because I've seen so many complaints about them on here.
