Default Finally got my xB! I have 2 quick questions....please help!

I picked up my xB last night. it is so awsome, I love it. I didnt get the factory wing installed but I was planning on getting one eventually. I noticed that where the wing would go, there arent any holes to mount the wing to the back. Will I have to take that rear piece off to mount it or do I have to drill holes to do so? if I have to drill holes I might just forget about it. but I am thinking I prolly just take that rear piece off and the wing replaces it. I guess it would make sense. Second: can anyone tell me if it is better to do normal daily driving with the Traction Control off and just use TC for the snow and rain? does is save gas mileage by not using it or visa versa?

First Congratulations on the new xb. To put the wing on holes will have to be drilled for installation and no pieces removed. The traction control has nothing to do with mileage and it should be left on at all times. Hope that helps

Traction control doesn't affect your mileage at all. Leave it on.

The wing requires holes.

Four holes for the wing. It's not hard, and makes the rear end look much better. I highly recommend it.

Go to TRDSparks.com, he sells the wing for around $240 shipped.
Took me maybe 30-45 minutes to install. It comes with a template for drilling holes.
Very easy.

that seems kinda pricey compared to the ~$150-$200 price tag i have been seening online for a CF wing. i will definitely get one once i have the money. after checking out under the hood last night i def wanna get a CF hood as well. that damn OEM hood is heavy as hell! can def shave some lbs. off by replacing the hood.

TRAC should only be OFF when you are trying to pull away from a ditch or stuck in the snow...per the manual.
