I am getting tired of car pics without people in them and looking under the hood shots

I haven't popped my hood but once since I got my car.

Thats a poll some one should start.

Maybe I do it, I've never started a poll

. this is an alternative..........

on second thought,... I'm glad cars arent in the pics at all

Yeah Chad, those are nice...I especially like the 2nd one with the blue in the background. I'm getting into photography myself because of school. I should be getting some black and white photos back from walgreens tonight that we shot last night. I hope they turned out ok.

All three are really good, but I like the first picture.

The other two are easily identifiable. When one looks at them, the mind says "hey, those are light fixtures." Good pictures, but easy to figure out.

But that first one, well, it's not so easy, and that draws the viewer in. It makes them think about it for a second. "What is that?" or even "What does this mean?" Especially when you add in the vibrant colors and the contrast of the photo, they work to make the image more intriguing.

That's what made the first one so desirable to me.

But what equipment are you using? It's pretty impressive! [as are your skills...]

Nice, it is a toss up between one and two, one is cool with the details. I’m not sure if that was lighted and you used a flash. The second has a good deal of depth, color and detail.

What did you get for the D70?

I would whip out some of mine but that would be thread jacking.

So he comes out of the closet. I was wondering when you were going to post up in here.

No Flash - I got some filters and a new 50 mm lense. Oh for those wondering no PS done at all.

Get your own thread so you dont have to highjack, :) LOL

I just loaded up a new Dell 9100, so I don’t have access to my photo hard drive. In a few days I have something for you on those really stressful days you can look at and slowly drift away to a far away place.

Yes I am am aware of it, the company does use Toshiba laptops. I have a tTeckra 9100. When it comes to work stations they opt for HP/Compaq and Dells.

I think that you have some promise with that third shot. Try and isolate like scenery in aview with that type of shot.
