Man that killer and I didn't even read the whole thing. I won't want an M3 older than '01, and a tC can't compare to an M3. That said I love my car and would try to have both.

Also there's a guy on here whose RS1.0 was wrecked by a kid. He wants another RS1.0 in 5spd. Holla @ him, maybe he'll take it off your hands.

My younger brother owned a BMW during college, but didn't drive it daily (only to pick up dates, etc.) It was too expensive to maintain. Every time he had to do anything to it at all, it had to be done where they had the special tools, and the reset tool to reset the computer after the maintenence was done too. So, he drove a Toyota Celica as his daily driver (it got better mileage too), and he saved alot of money that way. Then, after graduation, he landed his job, and used the BMW as a trade in for a newer BMW model that he now drives daily, and can afford now.
Bottom line? Stick with the Scion until you have the funds to support the BMW in every way.

Plus, with gas heading the way it is i think ill take my tC and the 20-22mpg that i get with it, to the M3's avg of like 16-18 and its tank is also 3-4 gallons bigger and requires premium. Besides when im all said and done with school i can get a newer or whatever else for that matter.
I didn't mean YOU were trying to compare the two. I'm just saying I love both cars-never been honored to test drive one though-but didn't want it to be perceived that I was trying to compare the two-I've been on the site too long, trust me someone would have said I was.
