I have a question. I have just recently bought a new 05 BOP XB. I have already put an AEM cold air induction kit on it. What do you think should be the next part? I have about 200 dollars.

 

next 2 parts for 200 bucks
1.Strutbar
2.lowering springs

 

2" goldlines... about $160 and easy to install yourself...

 

Definitely lowering springs.

But I would go with the progress techs from partshippers.com.

 

You could get a number of items:

Head Lights.
Tail Lights.
Arm Rest.
Short Shifter (if manual)
Springs.
Strut Bar.
Frame Brace.

And so many more things you could get.

Springs are a good way to start. How big a drop would you want if you decide to go with springs?

Normally I would be all about telling you and anyone else what to spend $200 on but right now I would advise you to save it for gas money.
But seriously, $200 can go a long way! New pulley, and quickshift. New springs. New exhaust. Tint and vent visors. Header. The list really goes on and on!

Hey, are lowering springs ok for a snowy place like Upstate NY? I'd hate to bottom out my new car.

 

I wouldn't advise them for snow duty. I change mine back to the stock springs in the winter for the occasional trip up to Detroit for the holidays. You could always remove the front and rear lips to prevent damage. Or just get a winter car.
