Muffler input size

I am in the process of building a custom muffler for my box and I need to know the OD of the factory pipe so I can finish it before I cut the factory muffler off.

If anybody is interested I can take pictures.

just get a universal 2.5 inlet. and run 2.0 or 2.25 piping into the muffler.

Well it looks like no one has measured theres,Looks like I will just have to cut it off and ride a day without a muffler.

Well if anybody really cares 1 3/4" ID fits perfect over the stock pipe after the stock muffler is cut off.

Yes, stock pipe size is 1.75". I did a little right up on size difference of piping. For most ppl a 2" back exhaust would show the most usable gains when compared to a 2.25" exhaust.
