Default OBX Speedstar Mesh

OK i know this comes with a little allen wrench so you can move the top little OBX plate so it faces you, but now it will just spin. I tried tigening the screws, but it seems like they just spin and dont tighten. So basically the top part is loose. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Other than this, I really like how this **** looks and feels. This is just comparing to the stock one which i replaced. I bought it off of ebay for $36 versus the dealer price of $59. Also it gets EXTREMELY hot sitting out in the sun. My simple solution is to just keep a terry towel in there and cover it. Its good to have in there anyway, just for cleaning.

Here is a pic just in case anyone wanted an in-car shot

I have the same problem. you twist it all the way off so its easily moved up and down, and then you just twist it completely back on again and tighten until its straight. works everytime for me.

Racing gloves, dude. I'm sure my leather doesn't get as hot as that mesh ****. They work in the winter, too, when it's cold.

Ok, so don't laugh, but I did a search online when I got mine. I found a great set that I loved and I ordered them. Then I got their catalog in the mail with my order, and I realized I had ordered my gloves from some kinky bondage store. Funny...I couldn't tell on their store site since I browsed right to the page with the gloves from the search engine. But in all seriousness, I'm buying new ones now. Check these out...http://www.saferacer.com/gcrgl.html

I've got te all aluminum OBX ****, and have the same twisting problem As for the heat, yeah, burns the hell out of me, so I just slip an Oakley bag over it, works pretty well. My friend calls it the Shift **** Condom

!! I never thought of that! I'm going to either have to bust out my old oakley case or use my spy's silver case to put over the shifter. why didn't i ever think of that?

Ive got the aluminum **** and have no spinning problems at all. Just the real hot or cold that is expected with this ****. The mesh one kinda looks like a microphone.

can't you guys just use a wrist sweat band? its thick and made of terry cloth and should be big enough to cover up the ****. its can also slide to the bottom at the boot when not in use.
