Default tC grief

Now I doubt that this is the problem, but I have noticed that the wiring in the tC is a pain in the ___..

Looking for the speedsense wire was a _____.. but we found it.. Violet wire.. but there are atleast 15 violet wires in that specific location..

but what happend recently takes the cake.. Last week I had an 881xp installed at CC.. yes I know everyone has horror stories about Circuit City, but overall I have had pleasent expierences. well (and I don't know about the situation and for some reason I doubt it was misinformation about the wiring) they wired the wire that makes the parking lights flash to the lead into the headlight switch (again this must have been a moron). and the next morning I had to leave my house at 5:00 in the morning to head to Scion Exposed. So I stayed up til almost 2 testing fuses and wires (because Circuit City said that it MUST have been a fuse).

Well, this wasn't the fact. instead the MANAGER who did the install fried the headlight switch. So driving to Exposed was fun, quite an expierence driving in the rain before dawn without lights.

This week was really on of my last weeks to do work on my car before I have to hit the books hard, I had about 35+ hrs of work that I wanted to do. this was everything from accent interior and exterior lighting to fiberglassing a sub box. Instead I have to leave my car with a dealership (a great one to say the least) and now focus on how I will get my car back so I can make it to class without hasseling my fiance.

Good news is that I got to Exposed and had a blast. Bad news is that I am lonely with out my tC without having a date as to when I will get it back.

hope ya get it fixed, that definitely sucks.. i don't want to tell you "told you so" but this shows why we shouldn't go to places like circuit city.. cuz most of the time they will just mess stuff up.. but hey i've learned my lessons in the past.. hope you can get it fixed and not have any more problems related to it later on..

I have had friends and family work in the roadshop, all have been very well skilled and I guess this gave me a false opinion

yeah i'm sorry that happened to you, i hope you get it fixed right.. maybe your friends/family could help you out with the wiring if you couldn't do it yourself (the problem that occurred)..

I currently manage a CC Roadshop and have managed 4 different Stereo shops over 10 years or so. Every shop has goofs now and then. Out of all the places I worked CC is the best about taking car of probs. Much deeper pockets than mom and pop shops. I had a girl get a stereo stolen and window broke out before she picked the car up from the install few weeks back. I gave her a new radio and paid for a new window install all within 24 hours. Any garage can have a good installer make a goof. Most of my installers even came from custom shops and even BB because we pay more.
Regardless glad to see it got taken care of.

Scott

Heres what happened.. I don't want to continue with these CC Horror stories..

Nothing happened that was out or ordinary.. It was a simple mistake, that could happen to anyone (and probably would have happend 10x over if I did the install). The manager at this store was not only helpful, but understanding to my situation. (It wasn't Scott but knowing he loves his Scion he would have been the same way).. The manager at the store I went to took care of everything at his store, they cashed me out for a $1,000 repair straight out of the register, IF this was a smaller shop it would most likely be taken care of by their insurance company. I really have no beef with CC.
I haven't ever had better expierences with many other companies.. At first I was really upset because various people started to deny blame, but the manager who did the install (when I finally got ahold of him) imeadiately did EVERYTHING he could to make sure that A. I had my car back in a reasonable ammount of time. B. that I was treated right throughout the situation. and C. That not a dime had to come out of my pocket for any thing that needed to be done.
