Recent trip with my xb, only got 6 mpg average???
Or I could say I went 1000 miles and only used a half tank. Sorry! Just thought you might want to see why I bought my XB. This box makes a great "Toad" (That's what a tow vehicle is called) At 2500 lbs you can't even tell it's behind you. I have to keep the camera on just for peace of mind. The mount I used is from Blue Ox. What I liked about this one is that when you take everything off, you can't see the mounts on the car so no one knows it's a tow car. After I bought it, it has become my daily driver. I've added Kosei racing wheels and an Injen short ram. With the 2.0 exhaust it really sounds great and is a kick in the pants to drive. Going through different RV parks where the average age seems to be 120 or so (I'm 44), it gets lots of stares, smurks and smiles. Actually that's all the time! Hope the pics come through.

OMG! 6 MPG! You're nuts, hopefully you didn't have to go that far but at least you got good MPG driving the xB when you got to your destination.
So you *are* planning on painting your RV solar yellow *right*?
That would be soooo obnoxious but better than painting the xB to match the RV eh?

This is definitely one time when the xB's lack of aerodynamics won't affect it...

Put transfercase in neut, i am sure towing the xb is a bad idea front wheel drive will get messed up. Even a jeep you should disconnect the driveshafts something to do with oiling parts?

sorry if I sound stupid but, is there an oil pump in the tranny? I mean why to crank up the engine every couple of miles to lubricate the tranny. first time I heard about it but
I'm no mechanic either.

What the kit does i dont know but i will find out for you!!
Kudos! Glad to see your not worried about the 'PC' crowd attacking.
TheWife was camping at a relatively local dog show a while back. We have a class-C. I commuted back and forth a couple of days.
As the crowd abated on Sunday I really thought about positioning the CAMO box for a nose to nose photo. Similar to the Chevy 'sibling rivalry' piece.
I was going to caption it 'when I grow up....' The difference is, the xB and the class-Cs actually look a little bit alike.
