Default Problem with stock headunit, please help

I installed an aftermarket radio in my xB for awhile and then pulled it out to put back the stock radio. Now with the stock radio connected and installed, i turn it on but no sound comes out and the amp in the back of the radio gets REALLY hot !!

Any suggestions??

hmmmmmm, that's an odd one! I mean there's no way to cross wires or wire anything incorrectly being that you just have to plug in a few harnesses.

This is what i would do if i were you:

- Take it to the dealer and say, "Look, my cd player just quite working all of sudden and gets really hot!"

They'll replace it

i agree completly. they arent going to know that you had previously just swapped it out. just tell them that it quit working for some reason. at least youll get a new one out of it. you may want to make sure you have every thing plugged in correctly just in case.
