Has anybody notice the horn on the steering wheel being sensitive? Sometimes, I can barely have my thumb resting on the wheel and accidently honk the horn. Its kind of embarrising.

Yeah, I've done it once while on a test drive. I've done it 3-4 times in my xA...I hate it... If you threw a penny at the horn, it would honk (haven't tried it..but it's that sensitive)...

I added a leather steering wheel cover and must have inadvertently honked the horn a dozen times while I was lacing it on.

A rather annoying little tick, I agree.

should be a pretty easy fix .. new springs, or re-flex the current springs?

When i drive i use my shoulder to hold my phone, sometimes, and my left elbow to steer, and low and behold it honks =\ very embarrasing... it doesn't happen with my civic, since it has two horn buttons instead of the airbag/horn combo... although the scion steering wheel looks better then the civic one...

Do like me and every time it goes off start waving your hands and pretend to scream at the person in front of you. It's less embarrassing that way.

 The worst is when you are pulling into a parking space. Everyone looks at you like you are a Honda owner or something.

maybe you just have a big heavy thumb :P just kidding. this has happen to everyone with a scion. i dont think scion has heard of stealth. do what i do when i accidently honk just turn around like if it was the person behind you

For some reason i mastered not honking by accident anymore. Which is a good thing of course. :D

hahaha...i have had it go off accidently like 5 times already...mainly i end up tapping the right side of the wheel by accident--it does keep me awake behind the wheel however.

The horn is indeed more sensitive than other cars I have driven.

Yep, the horn is definitely sensitive. But the couple of times I wanted to use it, I got no sound and had to hit around on it til it hooted. Go figure. (Don't you get annoyed with bimbo drivers who put their makeup on at a green light, or are too busy yackin at their passenger to watch the light?)
