I'm looking at the tC, and I'm loving everything about that car... Its just great for the price... now.......

I want leather. I've heard that there is a leather option that the dealer can work through, and that it is costly. I was told around 1200.

What I want to know is if every dealer install this.. Or is it a select few. And do they install it them selves, or does it come from the factory like that. I would also like to see some PICS* of leather interior on tC's.

If you have had it done on your car, if u don't mind letting me know the price, cost, and time it took... thanks scionlifers....

ditto on that 1200. The dealer usually takes it to "thier" install place not at the dealer. It looks pretty good tho

 

we charge around 1325 for single tone and 1525 for two tone/suede's/exotic leather. I have it in my xB if you wanna see how the quality is, just check my profile. Some dealers are cheaper some are more, it just really depends on where you go...some installers are good on the other hand and some just really suck. I think my leather job looks like it came from the factory, my distributor did an incredible job

 

we install it for $1100 and it's one of those TRD leathers... but i've only got two orders so far.

 

Is that the vinyl ones??? Ive seen them before but none of them have been real leather

...is it possible to get leather installed WITH the side airbags?

 

All of you are crazy to pay that much money. Go to creativecompacts.com and look at the Katskin leather kit. It replaces front/rear seats, side panels, and arm rest. You can get any color you want with any feature you want for far less than those guys^^

 

true.. but then you'd have to do it yourself and can't get the price rolled in with your payments AND warranted by the dealer.

theres usually two options for leather, one in the factory leather that only comes in one or two colors and then there is the katskin which not all but most dealers are doing in which you can get just about any color combination, style, and feel you like. I got a 2 tone blue and silver to go with my iip and love it. the silver is perforated. I paid 1300 for mine. theres pics in my profile.
