i love the interior. the two things i would recommend though, is lower it, and get rid of APC stickers. Injen and others are okay IMO, but APC is not well respected and is looked upon as "ricey". i think that one sticker detracts from the outside.

I've had Tenzo's in the past and they sagged. Try the Goldlines, Tanabes, or TRD. Just my $0.02.

had to vote ghetto because of the undercar and footwell lighting, the interior, and use of cheap parts.

whats with the gauges? do you need to monitor boost levels? oil pressure? afr? egt? my guess is no.

if i saw this thing in the parking garage, i'd leave a rice cop ticket on it.

In that rice thread, that's just over the top rice. Stickers all over a car is rice. Plus it's just advertising to thieves.

rice is objective term. but i like to use it for anything that looks stupid and/ or serves no purpose or actually hurts the performance of your car. riced out cars are generally a product of someone with no/bad taste or design sense.

what i consider rice: undercar and footwell lighting, LED washer nozzles, LED valve stem caps, large wings, stupidly large wheels, anything from APC, altezza style tail lights, unpainted body pieces, useless gauges on cars that don't need them, roll cages when you don't track your car, exhaust tips that are 10x the size of the exhaust pipe, lots of stickers when you're not actually sponsored by any of those companies, spinners, stretched tires, GTR or Type R badges and the like on cars that were not badged that way from the factory of built up to those specs, etc etc etc. i could go on for days

and what kind of car do you drive? it says you are a "future scion owner"?so basically any mod is rice..whatever

excuse me for being more go than show. and excuse me for hating on tacky 'mods.' no not every mod is rice, just the garbage you pickup at pepboys. did i say anything about performance mods? no. did i say anything about painted body kits, or nice wheels, or paint jobs, or tasteful wings or a million other mods you can do? no. i just think theres a huge difference between making a car look trashy, and making one look clean and respectable.

as for my car, i have a 2003 VW GTI 1.8T. i'm selling my mods and putting it back to stock so i can sell it and buy an xB. before you ask, the majority of my mods were for go and not for show.

thats cool, i can respect that. :clap: we all have our own opinions on what looks good and what doesnt. and its really about what makes you happy, being that its your car and all.

i think the xB is great cause i love the idea of driving a small japanese car never intended for the US market, saving money on car payments and saving money on gas. (the vw takes premium :( ) and i must admit that a big part of the allure of the xB is its style.

Gauges - YES! And I'm not a motor head. Of course, I've owned a Ford 3.8 and a couple of early Taurus' where the primary fan didn't like to come on. Could live with it because all I had to do was turn on the A/C and the secondary would kick in and cool it. Plus, the Reatta, up until this year, tended to get uncomfortably hot in traffic.
At least without the gauges, I'm not as distracted. Gives me more time to see who might be laughing or flipping me off.

No. Stickers like that on any car (except if you are sponsored or you are racing 100%) is rice. I doubt you race your xB, and I doubt you're sponsored.

I drive a Nissan truck....4x4 S/C V6....

I guess it's all a matter of opinion on stickers. I don't believe stickers, if kept under control, are rice personally.

my product stickers are hidden on my car like when you open the door hood or hatch you can see 'em

Very nice looking interior. I'm never a fan of decals whatsoever, but I love the wheels. Look a lot like mine ;D
