well here are the Pics: and the story is as follows.









I got in my car and noticed a small 2 inch crack on my front windshield and was super upset... I knew it couldn't be any rock because I hadn't been anywhere and the car was under a carport...a few days later it grew over 5 feet long and is still growing. I took it to the dealership (I don't want to name which one yet) I bought the car from and they gave me the hardest time ever....first they said that it was an impact crack and they wouldn't cover it. Then I told them to find me the Point of impact...they couldn't...so they told me to come back and speak with the service manager at a later date...I was so mad...then I took my car to Sandy Springs scion and they took me in and looked at my car and told me precisely what was wrong, and explained everything to me and gave me the verdict...yes, they would cover the problem....one week later and the glass is in and I go to get it fixed tomorrow….they said relax and just bring your car in and they would take care of everything. I am now very happy

Sandy Springs Toyota is the best people I have dealt with since I started looking for a car. Even if my windshield was not going to get covered I still am very pleased by the attention I received. Even though I am still seen as young, I am glad I was taken seriously as a costumer and scion owner. If any awards need to be handed out or bonuses given I’d put my vote for Sandy Springs Toyota. Any of you guys in the north Atlanta Area defiantly take your car here. They will be more than glad to help you out.

(I even talked to someone who worked for the (yet) to be named dealership and he told me that when ever someone who comes in like a woman or a young adult (like me) that they would not budge unless I raised hell)… I was so fed up…5 times I had taken it in and 4 times I got rejected…the one time I got something covered was when I had to go a prove that the repair was written into the Bill of sale…then they finally gave in on that one. !and! now, the one thing they repaired has to be fix again because they did such a poor job when they attempted to repair it…! Its safe to say that they will never touch my car again…

 

but what precisely was wrong, what made it crack you didnt tell us?

im dying to know

 

I have a tiny stone chip in mine already... not as bad of course... but pretty freaking annoying to me.

 

PLEASE write a letter to the regional scion/toyota or scion directly praising the dealership or the salesman that helped you out. Explain to them what happened. You have no idea how far it goes in making a dealerships business better and helping out the people that helped you (sales person) and making their life better.

 

I have a post going on about some windshield problems right now. I believe that maybe toyota used some cheap supplier, I have a tiny crack starting in mine right now and the entire windshield is full of little flecks or bubbles...I think the side glass might be the same...I am going to the dealership today
