i think you can ask for an extension if you dont have any past due amounts........

call them up and explain your situation... it might help!

yea, if you call before it is past due they should be able to heop you out, i know i got the insurance that said i can be unemployed for like 6 months and they will pay it for 6 months, i dont know if you got that one, i did finance via toyota financial, but give them a call asap

 

By all means CALL THEM!! There are situations that they can use where you might just pay the interest and tack the principal on the end, or they might be able to let you skip the month... They are much more willing to work with you if you call them. You know you want to stay in good standing, they don't until you tell them.



But, to answer your original question, it is usually 3 months before they repo....

 

call them quickly. i had to missa payment when i was financed with honda and i hated it but if you call then sometimes htey can tak it on to the end and give you an extensoin.
