YEA, for real.. i'm deeply in love with them all of a sudden. i shall call them, "fly hunny taillights."

i might end up ordering a pair also if they are legal in North Carolina. does anyone know if they are?

here's the link for the site that actually has them i think: http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/ho...=44&mid2=24545

They're $224.99, i don't know what shipping is.. but i'm most likely gonna get them..

if you don't mind getting rear ended. You can barely see the lights in these. Just a heads up!

they are a federally illegal part. but unless yer state has inspection you will never have problems. the vast majority of cops either does not know about the red reflector laws and the few that do don't care.

they are dim and no there is no reflector in them. they come with a stick on reflector which makes them legal but the stick on is huge and gaudy.

if someone rear ends you say hello to a large settlement and a new body kit as well as custom paint.

i know of two people that had/have them...

one person had major issues with the bulb sockets burning up the ribbon contact strip on the back...

the other person has no problems...

oh, dang. well, i hope someone would still see the lights.. i mean, the reflector obviously does serve a purpose.. but the lights also serve a purpose.. i might still order them, who knows.

the reflector is just for night time so they see yer car when it's parked on the side of the road. and they are dim but you can still see them pretty well.

i would not suggest going with those led lights if i were you. alhtough you do need something that glows red and bright, those particular bulbs do not emit any light through the sides.

I had these on my XB for a few months. The bulbs turn orange after a few weeks, and make it look retarded. Also, like Brandon said...... you can see the brake lights, turn signals, or even the running lights during the day. I got rid of them after i had my XB painted. They look tight as hell, but its not worth getting rear ended. Just my .02

BTW... when i had them on, i thought about buying a caddy tail light and flushing it in to the hatch... maybe one of you are brave enough to actually do it.
