while at school today, I returned to find that someone thought it would funny to kick a dent right into the driver's door. I am furious. there is nothing the school can do for me, because appearently they are not responsible for my vehicle, or it's contents, however the police can search any vehicle on school property at any time. they even have cameras! I am so sick of the attention this car gets. I'm so sick of people talking s**t, vandalizing my car, and even people looking at it. I wish there was a way to take it back, get our money back and get something different. the dent itself is small, but it's the principle. :flame: :flame: :flame:
to potential xB owners: please be aware that your car WILL be noticed, people may talk s**t about it to your face, they may yell s**t about it while you're driving down the street. they may kick in your door too.

don't get me wrong.. I love this car a lot, and if it weren't for haters, I'd have no problem. and on top of this little incident, my active stability control has been going crazy for no appearent reason. I'm having an xB breakdown :-\

Ok- if they have cameras was yours parked in the view of a camera? If so have your parents DEMAND to see the video. Demand to see the video so you can identify the person who did it! Most of the time you have at least a few days before the tape is re-used. I would do that ASAP.

i would have them review the tape as well. this is the exact reason why they have cameras. vandelism is @#$% wrong and they need to review the tape or you need to get an attorney.

of course I care about the car, and I pay the insurance. I know that dents and dings are just a part of owning a car... not a week after I got it (I'll have had it for a year in a couple weeks) there was a door ding on the passenger side.

My box gets made fun of all the time at work, I'm in my thirties and so are most of my co-workers. I tell them i get 34-36 mpg and with gas prices these days they shut right up. (Not gonna work with HSers though).

Take a look at the tape, find the kid/kids but them in a box ship them down to Texas, and we will show them some TEXAS justice .

i'm going to ask if I can see the tape tommorow when I go to pay for my parking permit... in all honesty, I don't even know if the camera's actually tape. I have heard of people getting caught doing burnouts, though. I'm just worried of what I'll find next. now I expect to find something worse one day.

Sorry to hear about that. I've never noticed anything like that here for the past two years. Some people are just too late to catch on. Especially with our cool xb's. I would park at the furthest parking space away from everyone.

My school has added a video system over the last summer (i just started going here my senior year), i'm so glad they have it cause if someone did this ____ to my car.... i would be fuggin ____ed. my school claims that the video they record is saved for up to 60days because it's all digital, i'd get that video and somehow get a copy, or at least find out who did it. I bet they don't even have a car... can't wait for someone to say ____ about my xB once i get it. Dont ask for the tape DEMAND it. If they dont get it tell them you will get a lawyer and a court order to turn over the tape! How can the school condone vandalism? Ask them that!

someone punched my fender and left a huge butt dent in it. i know how it feels. then someone felt the need to egg it while at my house. make friends, keep friends, and dont ____ people off. keep your car low profile. thats my advice to you.

when the ford focus was new i got keyed up pretty good in a mall.

You should feel PROUD that your car attracts so much attention....bc IF these said haters really "hated" your box they wouldn't be saying ANYTHING at all bc they wouldn't be paying attention to it in the first place! Could be worse.

You could work for a American Car company and park iin the employee car lot and have your Car keyed by Union officals who gets thier kicks out vandalizing cars that are not made by them. Yes this happened to me. Lucky not to my Scion. I now get thier early enough to park my Scion right in the front where lots of human traffic is and two Security cameras are pointed right on it.

I'm from a pretty well-off family... I'm really not trying to brag or anything though. I see you're from philly, I don't know if you've ever been to west chester, you'd see. Well I get to the school today and I look where the cameras USED to be last year... they are no longer there :cry: I've told a bunch of people about it, and we're on the lookout for whoever it might have been.. the underclassmen should be out of our lot by tommorow.

Just thought this would be funny to add by why not mount a turret on top of the xB, thus enhancing the tank like image? Could be made better if you use a real one that actually works! Sorry to hear about the dent thats why I waited till after highschool to get a brand new car. Hope you find out who did it.

revenge is my fav..but not as fun as findig who fu*ked up.. my box got egged and hot sauce containers thrown all over it... it took time, but they wont be around again.. same for you sublimize....you'l find who did it and you'll get em bak.. and when u do... kik em in the fu*kin teeth for me.. it will be fun..
