my wife and I are expecting our first child soon in december. I remember seeing a while ago a leather interior tc with leather car seat. can any parents with newborns chime in? what kind of car seats do you have in the tc? is the tc trunk big enough to fit a stroller?

yes..its big enough for a stroller...and i have a 2 year old...his babyseat fits fine

 

You should have no problems using a carseat in the tC. I'm using the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System's toddler seat, rear facing, for my six month old. The only problem I experience is having to hunch over in order to place the carseat into its base.

 

Yeah, my neice's seat fits just fine.

 

I use Evenflow Triumph carseat for my 2 year old. It's one of the larger carseats and it fits in tC without a problem. I tried fitting this carset in to my friend's RSX and it would even go in. Trunk room is not great but it should fit normal stroller just fine. I have combi stroller and it goes in fine. For a coupe, tC has lot of room in the rear in my opinion.

 

I work at a baby store, and I find that most carseats fit pretty well in most cars in the middle/third seat in the back. You might have to adjust your driver/passenger seats a little bit forward to fit it, but it may even fit perfectly without adjustment. We fit a carseat with plenty of room into an xA, but it seemed to have a lot more space in the back than the tC does. Hope this helps.
