i am looking for the carbon fiber hood that has the two vent sloping down not the ones with the scoops i was wondering if anyone has seen any of these on the web please let me know

thanks scion had an owners party here in baltimore and there was an xb people were living in to win and it had that hood and the scion guy that was there didnt know where i could get one

I think that hood looks tight as hell, but arent you guys affraid some _______ is going to drop something down in one of the vents or pour some nasty ____ in there and ____ up your engine bay? I thought about getting that same hood until I thought about how many _______s out there would do something like that. I think Im gonna get the OEM cf hood just to play it safe.

 

True, the cool peep / a-hole ratio gets closer by the day but I fell in love with the vented hood and I had to have it. There is a mesh grill (aka chicken wire) over the vents so I guess that offers some protection from random jerks out there.

 

i dont live in the best hood and my car sticks out like a sore thumb for instance the other day i was out front messing around with stuff and some kid asked me about my car and i was telling him about it and he asked me where am i getting all this money and i told him i had a job and he had like a suprised look on his face like whats a job
i really want to move to a better hood before i keep moding the outside but it the only place i can afford while my fiance is in college

ha, I like definition #2.....lol, I live in Los Angeles. Don't even get me started on the housing market in SoCal, hehe. I suppose if I didn't have a garage I would think twice about parking a modded car outside every night. It's too bad that a handfull of people can ruin stuff for everyone.
