Those are actually a mod I've wanted for a while.

It can be done with tint film, but I've been told it will chip and peel quickly, because it's exposed.

The mirrors on Beamers and Benzes are actually colored glass. This is, however, a great candidate for a group buy... I'm down.

I work for Mercedes and one time I had to throw away some mirrors like that (don't ask why) but as I opened them, I took my razor blade and wanted to have some fun with the mirror (I'll throw it away anyway so why not lol)

well, to my surprise, I couldn't make a SINGLE scratch on it.. it was amazing.. it would not break, scratch, or anything... I had never seen anything like that...

what about glass paint? i remember back in high school i used to colour reverse bulbs blue and turn signal bulbs red with high heat glass paint found at those arts and crafts shops. the paint was clear and lasted a very long time. i still have the reverse lights on my sisters car. the paint was used for candle holders and stained glass projects.
the only problem i see with that is getting asmooth application, a colour match, and making sure that the clarity remains from the mirror. if anyone has a mirror lying around i think you should try it.
