Volume change or am I crazy?
I swear when I go from something like the highway(Fast high rpm) to stoplight(low idle rpm, slow driving) My volume on the stereo gets lower although the actual number doesnt change.
Then when I speed up again the volume will get louder.
Am I the only one who thinks this?!?
Am I crazy!?
Or is this some "feature" they addded in?

well you being crazy is beyond the point
lol
(couldn't resist)
but seriously.. if you have an 06 tC.. with the 06 headunit (the one with the volume ****).. it has a feature for volume control based on speed.. you can turn it off, it's in your radio's manual..

I noticed it once around 40-45 and another around 60 mph in my gf's tc. I looked through the manual to see if they ahd some auto-adjust for road noise but I can't find anything. It's weird too b/c it happens as soon as you go over that mph barrier instead of a gradual increase.
(sigh..) I said it once and I'll say it again....
Owner's manuals are your friends...
You have the ASL feature on. Press the audio mode button until it cycles through Bass, Treble, Fade, Balance, then ASL. To turn it off, turn the **** until it says "OFF"
