Noticed a TC in a Pioneer AVIC-N2 ad
I was surfing the net looking up random stuff and my girlfriend wanted to see a few headunits, so I was showing her things on the AVIC-N2 and eclipse AVN5495/5435 and noticed on the site http://www.pioneer-itknows.com/ if you click on the guy with the fro wearing the yellow shirt and sandals (after you skip the intro) it shows the N2, and the car they're showing it off in is a TC.
I also wondered if the screen would be in front of the air vents, and that answers my question. Seems like they purposefully avoided taking pictures of the vents behind the screen, even if you could turn them sideways I still think it'll block the center.
anyways, just wanted to get everybody's input from anyone who owns/seen/used a d1/n2 in a TC and how it's worked out, I've used an AVN2454 and it was great, only a small place on the sides needing filling and there's a toyota part to fill the gaps, and what you guys thought.

any single din nav unit that flips up like that will have 2 issues that I know of.
1. It could hit the tC door if you need the screen to tilt back.
2. It will block your 2 main A/C vents and they will frost up your windshield quite badly.
What part does Toyota offer to fix the gap on your AVN?

oh, I don't have an AVN, but I'm leaning towards it, and it'll probably be my next major upgrade unless I go FI first - I've seen and used the unit in a friend's TC - I did some a quick search on this site with the great search feature (if you know how to manipulate it properly) and came up with these two part #'s - 86221-52050 and 86221-52060 for left and right - they're $16 each from the dealership or just over $9 from www.scionpartspeople.com
Keep in mind I'm just re-typing everything I searched from, so if prices changed, or sites don't sell them, or dealerships don't yada yada.
I already heard about having to modify either the radio door in the TC or redrilling the bracket mounts, which isn't too bad but definitely inconvenient, which everyone should know about.
