i smoked one of my rear tail lights, but could not do the other because i couldnt get it off. the top bolt is striped and i think i might have to take it to dealer to have them remove it unless i can figure something else out.

what do you guys think? like the stock or the black?

i went with a light smoke because i didnt want it all black...

Just take the bolt out with pliers, or try and drill it out.

would vinyl bubble up under the heat? i used a high temp paint just in case because those lights do get pretty hot...

i finally got the other side off. they bolted it waaaaaaay to tight... but i got it off. ill post pics when i finish

 

high temp paint? i've always used nie shades by vht no problems with heat ever.

 

I've had them done for about 4500 miles. No problems so far. And, even if it melts the vinyl a little or wrinkles it, you won't see it through the lenses.

 

That looks really good, using stock lights saves money I am gonna do it too

 

yeah, i didnt do a good job taping it the inside be spraying. no one even notices anyways.
