Default CAI questions

So what is the best cold air intake for the xb's? and is it better to get the long piped ones or the short ram intakes or what? and i've gotten a couple of peoples opinions on this but, do they increase or decrease gas mileage?

I like the full cold air. It pulls air out from under the fender not just in the engine compartment. Helps get some of that "cooler" air in the car
bad thing thou.. watch for big puddles of water if you do not have the bypass filter

I have gotten a little better.. but Joey has gotten a little less in her xA..

BUT also I find myself romping on the gas a bit just to hear the CAI sound off.

AEM COLD AIR OR INJEN SHORT RAM! There isn't much horse power difference between the two except the the cold air gets two more horse power than the short ram. Which isnt much and you wont be able to tell. What is nice is that the Injen short ram or any short ram is very easy to install unlike the cold air you have to take the whole front end off your car to install. Plus the cold air is anywhere from $60 to $100 more than the short ram. I say go short ram all the way
