What's up all......so i'm interested in gettin' the TWM short shifter, and i can get a shift **** for $15 cheaper if i order that w/ the short shift kit. so the only one i'm really interested in is the flat black ****. But now my question is, for those who may have this or other metal ***** (that sounds so bad haha), does it leave that metallic smell on your hands after you've been driving around w/ it all day???
i kinda like the stock ****, but i'd rather get somethin' else, and no other's really look that good to me, any of the leather ones look bad i think, especially since i dont' have leather interior. well plz lemme know, thnaks!
oh and if you've got pics of one in u'r car, could you post up or email em to me, just wanna see if there's a big difference in size compared to stock
which one i'm exactly talkin bout

I have a Razo RA43a Gunmetal Aluminum shift **** which i installed w/ the TWM Stage II short throw shifter, and nope.. haven't noticed any smell on my hands for the most part.
Pic's a little big, but makes it easier to see it.

Theres an anodized coating on that **** so that should keep your hands from smelling like metal. FYI, I have the TRD **** which I love and It matches the leather on the steering wheel and the shif boot so it doesnt look as out of place as you might think.

I have a RAZO, but with the TWM SS kit you have to adust the metal thingy, so that it doesn't look strange (with the holes showing). But with the TRD you don't see anything, it looks stock.
I just bought the OBX Speed Star Mesh shift **** and was wondering if anybody has that one and how do you attach the top ring so the boot stays on? I have not looked at it yet because i am waiting on the **** to come in the mail but would like any heads up possible.
The best thing you can add to a short shifter is a weighted ****-- seriously. Otherwise, you feel like you're rowing a boat. TWM Classic in plain stainless steel, on a Stage 2 shifter:

Oh, and don't worry about a smell-- stainless steel has no odor. The SS **** has no coating, and I've further wetsanded it to get a good polish. Odorless.
