tire pressure warning light after TRD spring installation.
Today I spent almost 10 hrs installing TRD lower spring which includes
1. actual installation
2. smoke break
3. lunch break
4. stopping by few stores to rent spring compressor
5. go to store to buy bolt and nut etc...
I should have researched more in here before I did installation... taking out stock
spring from rear suspension was a hell... me and my friend spent couple of hours
just trying to take spring off.. finally we just gave up and went to near shop to do it.
hell... they just did it in 15 min... what a bump..pay them 40 bucks
also I broke one of bolt with tourque wrench... it was dark and I didn't know I set up
too much tourque on it. we went lowes to buy bolt and nut which has same size of
original one. We couldn't find a exact same size so we chose slightly smaller one.
Should I go to dealer and get bolt and nut from them? Me and my friends both
aggreed that should be fine but I wanna know you guys opinion...
Anyway... on my way home, i got tire pressure warning light. I'm concerning 2 possible reasons...
first, I might roatated tire... my friends guarage was so messy ( he was doing maintanance for his supra) so I wasn't really careful about which tire goes where.
Second, when we put lower spring into front shock, we didn't compress the spring.
We just put back everything together(rubber boot, perch, upper mount plate) and tight shaft nut. The upper mount plate was not tight as rear one also I could rotate them. Is this might cause tpwl? Shall I go back to shop and tight shaft nut with compressing front spring?
I wanna hear what you guys think... thanks.

As for the bolt. Yes, I would say go to the dealer and get a replacement. The one you have may work OK temporarily, but you don't want to keep it in there longer than you have to - especially if it's slightly smaller.
well the tire pressure sensor goes off a relation between wheel speed and rpms. the only things that i think can affect it are a different size overall wheel/tire diameter than stock or you just have low pressure in one of your tires. im better its the latter...get your pressure guage and start checkin em.
Or a damaged wheel speed sensor which is also very possible when removing the struts if you don't ensure there is some slack in the wire after re-installing. Sadly, it's possible to get it wrong and damage the wires leading to the sensor itself.
