It's kind of like a rebate for buying a scion between aug. 1st and oct. 31st. Check out scionboost.com .

Purchased mine 08/03 and still no mailer with an access code yet. I figure I'll give them another week before I call and start harassing somebody.

I don't know anybody that has received their code! Kinda "scammish" if you ask me (nobody did, just thought I'd chime in)...

I don't mind waiting for something that is free, but you think they could of handled this a little better. At least keep the owners updated.

My dealer (Community Scion/Toyota) didn't even know about the boost program when I ordered my box. Sales guy called 4 days after I'd taken it home to tell me the 'good news' they'd just found out about ScionBoost. I already knew about it from here before I even went to the dealer... oh well. As long as they don't run out of the good stuff, I'll be happy.

I was in my local dealership over the weekend and noticed a box that had the "ScionBoost" logo on it sitting on the floor. I guess it works, but i haven't received my code either, and it's coming up on a month since i got my box.

like I said I bought the xb for being an xb, not for what I get free with it. It's just icing on the cake. I guess I'll just hold onto my shorts.LOL

They are trying to clear out the 05's. It's kind of like a rebate.

I'm thinking it will take a while since it is some outside company http://octanner.com/ running the promo and fulfillment for Toyota. No biggie--free stuff is free stuff I can sell on ebay to make my insurance payments or buy better stuff for the box...

It is only for 05s as an incentive so people don't wait on 06s. But almost all the 05s were sold out when the program hit here.

The local Scion dealer said that it takes about 4-6weeks for Toyota to process the sales and follow up on the registrations. ( So dealers don't fake sell leftover cars- Toyota waits for the states to list registrations)

Then you should get the password.

You should receive a letter with a small gift fairly soon after delivery. This letter will tell you that you should be getting the letter with your code in another 4-6 weeks. If it's been several weeks, and you haven't received the first letter, you might want to follow up with your dealer, but I don't know exactly how long it takes.

Do you know if there was anything the dealer was supposed to do on their end as far as the Boost program goes? As I said at the time of purchase, the dealer I bought my car from didn't know anything about it, and when my sales guy called me days later, he said it should be 'automatic' and when I went to pick up my plates, I asked him again to verify, and he said the same thing--that there wasn't anything they needed to do and it was all on Toyota...

O.C. Tanner, eh? They are a, 'award' company that's been around a loooong time. They are slow but solid. I got my '25 year' company award from them in about three months back in '95...

It takes a while for all the validations and such on any special deal like this.

There's nothing special the dealer does. The process is started by the dealer doing their normal sales reporting to Toyota/Scion. Depending on the dealer, this may be done the same day as the sale, or sometimes it could be as long as a week or so after.

I find it rather funny that it is for '05's because as far as I can tell there aren't many out there. And me being from Seattle I can't seem to even find one, and the dealers are questioning me like " why would you want an '05?". I would like to know where I can find and '05...I wouldn't mind taking advantage of the boot incentive.
