Is it just the regular rectangle box? I saw another scion with it and its nice. I've got a big surprise for the meet too but it will have to wait until the next one after the 19th

i wanted to make a home made sub box out of fiber glass...or at least MDF...but i found out it was too difficult...and then i went to a shop by my house and there was a deal on this set up...and i had to get it...imagine this...two Kenwood 2 tens...with a JBL amp for 250...huh? what you think of that? 8)

you need a fiberglass sub enclosure.

MSRP is $550 with a subwoofer (the box is specially designed for that sub), but if you go to the krispy kreme meet and join team scion west, you can get a better deal on the package. then you will have all your trunk space back. i have one of these and i love it. really good bass. image dynamics is not a cheap brand.

I am still partial to the enclosed box form.

i know. i used to have an enclosed box but the fiberglass one saves space.

mine is louder, too. not to be mean. i'm just saying.

haha, such a tiny, little boom you've got there. I know it's bad(mine not yours eric) but my box goes up at an angle all the way to the top of the rear seats and that's including taking out the spare/side box. You guys gotta check it this sunday.

Hey Stylis,
I noticed that you have your speakers facing rearward. Have you tried facing forward?
Does it make a difference in sound depending on the way the speakers face? I am wondering about rattle from the bass. I have 2 12" Alpine type R's and 2 Bazooka amps I want to take out of my mustang and install in the xB when I get it. I am just concerned about rattle.

There is some rattle but mostly from the license plate, So i put a cloth piece underneath the bottom half of the license plate and it's fine. I only have one Kicker 10" Comp and I can still hear some body panel rattle from the rear but not noticable from the drivers seat. You can hear it if your behind the car.

Dude, of course theres rattle. I've got 3 1200w subs aimed straight up and theres crazy rattle. I've got a ton of dynamat in the trunk and I still need to take off the plate and wiper but i crank it real loud, real loud. inside u dont really hear the rattle, just outside. inside it sounds great tho.
