Default My New 06 TCM XB w/mods **PICS** Thoughts??

Been surfing the forums for months and though I would post pics of my new XB that I picked up 3 weeks ago today. Let me know what you guys think

Here are the pics

So far I've added 18x7.5" Centerline RPM Wheels (polished) with 215/35R18 BFG G force sports (42mm Offset with no rubbing for those who are curious)

Limo Tint around the back. 30% on front side windows
B Cool 3 Piece Billet grilles
Dual Halo projector headlights
Eclipse AVN2454 DVD/NAVI
Optima Yellow top battery
Scosche Alarm with remote start
2 JL 12W6V's (Will post pics when the box comes back from upholstery)
Rockford 10001 Mono Amp
Rockford 4001 Amp for the highs
Focal 165V2's for mids/highs all the way around

Lowering springs are on a UPS truck somewhere in route to my house
Injen Short Ram intake will be on the way tommorow

Lots more to do in the future but I figure I will take a break on the mods since I will be tired of the car in 6 months. So when I get tired of the car I buy something for it and then I'm happy again. Dont want to lose intrest in my daily driver.

For those who wonder why I chose an XB heres a pic of my last ride which is now my weekend driver.. hehe (Green Lifted Chevy that I still have)

The reason I chose the XB is because I've always liked mini vans and to me it seems like a scaled down version of my first ride (pic below) Sold it a while back when i got my truck

I love the 30 MPG or so verses the 9-11MPG my truck gets. Comments thought and opinions are appreciated

Looks very clean with those headlights/grilles, specifically in pics of the front. I'm fairly sure those are the headlights I'm going to get for my soon-to-be xB, although I'm thinking I might get the black housing version as opposed to the crome....not sure yet since yours look so good.

Looks nice! Man, I'm a little jealous, still having to wait for my xB... but for now, gas still costs less than gas and a payment... so I guess I'll wait a little while longer.

The power wire you see there is 1/0 gauge. Its probably overkill but its nice to have, Plus I had a whole roll sitting in the garage from when i used to work for Scosche.

I went with Eibach pro kit springs. Didnt want to slam it, but wanted a little lower than the TRD springs. Hopefully the springs will do that for me. If not I will probably try a different kind.

Yep I bought the car from Toyota of Oxnard. Sale went pretty good once I got past the salesman the insisted I fill out a credit application even know I was paying cash for the car, plus he didnt seem intrested in the sale walking around and taking his sweet time and trying to sell other cars while I'm sitting there waiting in his office. If I were to buy another car from them I would find a different salesman. I showed up at the dealer at 10am and didnt leave until close to 4pm. I called all around looking for an 06 TCM five speed. I called that morning and they said it was rolling off the truck as we speak. The only reason I got the salesman I did was because it had just been washed and prep'd for sale, and he was backing it up to the front window as I walked up knowing I was taking that car home.

Hey kaotekxB. Used to work in TAER. Now I'm in FCAC. Dont know if I'm going to have to work this weekend. If not then I will probably be there. Have to get those springs installed and put the final touched on the stereo install. Wouldnt doubt that you heard that bass coming from the box. It only makes the roof move up and down like 2-3 inches..

Default hey

I will be installing my TEIN H-TECHS this weekend with my fellow Scion Evolution members. It's a small drop less than 1".

Hope you can make so we can talk a bit more (in person).

I will never go back to them again. Just for way they were treating me when I was buying the car, then when I took it back to have scratches taken care of.. bought the car at night so I didn't see them till the morning, and the car came back to me with a scratch on the stereo dash and filthy. Waiting to get the car back from the service was poor also. just overall, a very unhappy customer I am with them.

Oh, and what's the deal with Optima yellow top batteries? I've seen lots of people use them, though they never say why... Is it just for the CCA rating or something?
