I unfortunatly do not own a Scion model because my credit sucks and I couldn't get financing although I'd do anything to own an xB. I'm lucky enough to do almost anything I want with our dealership's xB that has come to be called the "Juice box". I spend a lot of my spare time trying to promote Scion around here in DSM.

I'm currently in the process of changing my approach to what I do. Since I don't own a Scion I always feel like an outsider at meets. I've decided to back up a little and try to do my own thing here. Maybe that will work and maybe not. :)

Greetings everyone. My name is Tony Hansen and I am an active member of ScinergyIA. I was just being a stupid kid going and looking at cars in lots and asked to take a tC for a test drive just for the fun of it. I fell in love with it from the moment I sat in the driver's seat.

I love cars and motorsports...except NASCAR :nope: . In the summer, I drag race motorcycles at a local track and am hoping to break into autocross this summer. I am a computer geek and play bass guitar. That pretty much sums me up. See you at Ames 3.0

Wassup. I figured I'd check this place out. I live near Joplin, MO...and have had my tC since December of '04. It's got around 35,000 miles on it now, and I'm driving it less to save the miles on it. It had a full 30k on it in the 1st year.

Now my daily driver is a 1999 Ford Ranger, x-cab, 4wd. My FUN car is my 1987 Rx7 Turbo. :D

Hey everyone, I'm Caitlin from the good ole Football... err, I mean, Cornhusker State. I just got my tC a couple of weeks ago... not planning on doing anything too crazy with it, but if I get the cash, you never know! I put up a couple pics on my profile... it's blue ribbon metallic. I ordered it around the time they were switching over from nautical blue, so I was a bit weary, but the blue ribbon looks fantastic! It is one gorgeous car, especially out in the sunlight.

These forums don't seem to get posted in much, which sort of bums me out... or if they do it's all mechanical stuff that's way over my head, but I wanted to join and share my Scion love! Forgive me for being a newbie and asking, but is there a way to search for members from your city? I couldn't find a way to do that but I'm curious how many tC's I'll run into on the road. Thanks!

I am actually on my second Scion. I had a 2008 BSP xD and was in an accident on April 1, 2008 (after having the car for only 6 months). Here's a photo of that:

I loved the Scion community so much that I went and got a new one (well, and I have kick-a$$ insurance). So now I'm driving BSP xD #2, named Dior. She's still pretty stock, but I have rims and springs and graphics coming, not to mention I'll be painting the interior pieces (for the... uh... 3rd time) when it gets a little warmer out.

Custom chrome lettering on the hatch, painted interior trim, AEM billet oil cap, TRD exhaust tip, stock Alpine h/u, Excel "Fame" rims, Progress springs, XM radio!!! I think that about covers it.

Hello all. My name is Laken. I live in La Vista, NE (Omaha area), but I spend alot of time in Lee's Summit, MO for work. I bought an '06 BSP tC last month, and I'm trying very hard to resist the urge to dump more money in mods on it than I spent on the car. I've been down that road before and it didn't end too well... but that's a story for another time. I spend a large portion of my time travelling around the continent (not in my tC), so I'm not generally able to make it to the meets and shows, although I absolutley will if I ever get the opportunity.

My car has a small list of mods that were done before I got the car, although I've already decided on some more that I'm doing, and ordered a few of them. Accoring to the Carfax the car has had two previous owners, originally came from the Des Moines, IA area, and was sold to Beardmore Chevrolet in Bellevue, NE where I bought it. I don't have any pictures of the car yet, but it looks stock anyways, except for the TRD exhaust, LED taillights, and tint. That's just fine with me, as I prefer to fly as far under the radar as possible. My foot get's me in enough trouble without blatantly asking for it.

I'm looking for a dealer that has experience installing the TRD LSD system (Quaife ATB) now. It's already been ordered from TRD Sparks, along with the install kit. It would have to be in the KC area on a weekday, or in the Omaha area over a single weekend. Any suggestions or referralls would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the response! I still have about 13,000 miles left on the powertrain warranty, so I'd prefer the work to be done at a dealer. If I can't find one that I'm happy with I will definitely look up Choung at Revline.

My name is Austin and i drive a 2007 scion tc. ive done quite a bit to my car (IMO) and i really spend a lot of time on it, i do all the work myself. most of my parts arent BALLER parts, but i like it and buy a lot of my parts based on function and price not brand. Mods include a Dezod turbo kit, raceland coilovers, painted front bumper and hood, Kaminari Wing, tuned on a F/IC, N2MB WOT box, Sport edition KM11 wheels 18x8 et 35 powdercoated black, Tial BOV, bluebatmobile overlays, trd rear sway, trd strut bar, 2.5" straight thru exhaust, blue headlights. looking to do an LSD and a Camry tranny swap.

Im actually on my second trans, the first one i blew up the diff about a week after i turboed lol too many burnouts... but i bought my new trans in joplin for 350 w/ a clutch. i mow grass for a living so once it starts growing again ill have a quaife lsd, camry trans and an act clutch. i plan on slappin it all in at once.

deff let me know when the KC events are, my gf loves shopping in KC so ill make a trip up there... i also have some family in lees summit so i could stay or w/e.

Welcome Rick, sorry for the delay reply bro! about the wheel offset it's hard for me to say on 17 all depends on what look you are going for. I running 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear +30 offset. Running 15mm hub spacer with -3 camber in the rear
