Just wondering...Cause online I could get one around at $360? If I get it install by some auto shop...It shouldn't take more than $50 right?

how much does shipping cost? you have to add in shipping cost in there too. so it might be close to that $525 price

IMO - The only way i would pay that from Scion is if I was broke and was going to finance the whole thing..525.00 is way too much..

Otherwise, definitley cheaper to buy an aftermarket and it only takes 30 minutes to install it yourself.. 2 - 12 mill' bolts- Piece of cake...

I just bought the TRD exhaust from Scionpartspeople.com for $370.05 shipped and installed it myself in much less than an hour, piece of cake. Bottom line: it's not worth that much, and if you're up for it, the install is a mere two-bolt process. You'll need only a jack, two jackstands, and a 14 mm wrench.

If you want more details on the install, PM me for pics/ info.

Don't buy from the dealer! Save yourself $150.

How many miles did you have on your tC when you installed the exhaust? I'm just asking because the hangers, for me, were the easiest part of the whole process. I had about 1350 miles at install time, and it was real easy to slide the rubber off with almost no effort. I just pulled off the whole rubber catch with the hanger.

There really is no way of installting it improperly. It will not install if you do not have things properly lined up to begin with. That having been said, since it is a fairly simple installation and should not take longer than an hour or so, I would guess a good shop would charge roughly 75 bucks for the job. Good luck man

the trd exhaust is a very straight forward install, it is nearly impossible to install it wrong. you dont need any car expierence at all to install this.

question for ya... are you just looking for sound? or do you want power too?

trd is only for sound... it will yeild about 1-2 hp.... if that

if you want to add power with a great sound, i would look into the draxas exaust www.draxas.com all stainless steel, and a lifetime warranty!
