Went to the dealer yesterday and placed a deposit. I was told I'm one of the first to lay down a deposit in the northern Chicago area burbs. After reading all these posts, I'm dying to get my xA, but sadly have to wait til June.

Yep, as late as june 23rd is what I was told. Though I have heard that it may be possible to go out of state and have one sent in. Dont know if that's true since my dealer said they couldn't order because they haven't been given their alotment from Toyota yet. Has anyone in the midwest area tried this?

Question, my dealership called today and said they got their first xA, but it's intended for the service department to become a loaner! They said it could still be test driven once they get it insured but why would the first one be given to service? I haven't driven one yet and can't wait!

Nvery dealership on the east coast got a trac car for the dealership to get out in the public and for everyone to see before the car went on sale. Ours though was bought by our rental dept. and we use it as our demo car, to show people, offer test drives, and fix up for the customers to see what is possible to do to them. Your dealership should be doing the same thing.
