as of now i don't have my monitor and receiver. i have decided to go with the setup that mattjk installs. he will be installing the monitor but my question is once i get the monitor what is required for me to hook up the receiver. sorry if this sounds dumb but i have no experience with car video. does it just hook up like any other cd deck and i then use a coaxal cable to connect the monitor to the deck ( as in home theatre)? any help would be great. i will be out of money soon and everything i can do myself would increase the amount of goodies i can buy. thanks fellas

thats what i was thinking. although i have never seen a in car dvd player and monitor in person where i can examine the connections. i guess i will need to get the receiver and monitor and go from there. holla
