My dad works for Toyota/ Scion and this was in there new info they just got. Not sure if this is old info but I thought i would share it.

I'm with matty looks like an Injen with a TRD badge slapped on it.

 

yeah i thought the same thing.....Looks like an AEM intake to me. ONly its straight out of a Scion Parts book

 

my parts manager told me about this a few weeks ago there wont be an aem CAI becasue trd decided to make one for themselves.

thats odd..it came out right after i bought my injen cai..oh well im pretty sure injen puts out more gains wit better noise anyways

There is no info in the parts book on HP gains but I hope it can atleast provide the HP that Injen and K&N are getting

Sorry there is no price in the catalog. The catalog is nore like a soon to come kinda thing i guess. Cause I know the intake is not out yet......hopefully soon though. I'll prolly have as soon as it comes cause I get killer prices on all TRD stuff. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it preforms.

 

Guessing since it would be from the dealer it would be a bit pricey, but I'd still be interested. Keep us updated

anyone else notice it looks like a carbon filter after the bypass valve just before the MAF? or is that just an elongated sleeve?

What they really shouldve done is make it convertable to work with the S/C.
