Default Red ZPI Silicon radiator hoses installed **pics**

I received my RED silicon radiator hoses from ZPI, nice looking and easy to put on. I wanted to thank ZPI for offering these for sale, good quality, perfect fit and a recommend buy.

I am eyeing some of the other items on the web site for sale. Thanks to the staff, ordering is easy and the follow up is great.

Yes you will need a clean coolant/oil catch pan to drain the radiator, it is pretty straight forward. If the plastic under carriage is off this is great, if not going for the lower radiator hose is tight.

This TC build out theme is a joint venture with Toyota and JBL to support the vendors offering products through SCION to the enthusiast. AEM/DC Sports being one of the vendors, DC sport strut bar, DC Header, AEM oil cap, AEM battery bar and DC Sports Axle back exhaust. The stock intake remains until the AEM CAI is approved by (carb) and made available for sale. With the TRD Super Charger release here it is not likely the AEM CAI will even make it on the TC.

Since the ZPI hoses are not offered by the primary SCION vendors it does not pose a conflict of interest when adding visual/performance parts to the TC.

Matty, I struggled with RED or Yellow, it came down to this. Get the RED which was not the correct factory replacement or get the yellow which is the correct one.

You can do as I did and buy them online at the link below or use the toll free phone number. You will get to speak to the lovely Keisha. They are $128 for the set plus shipping. I only linked the RED as they do sell BLUE also.

Such a shame they don't sell yellow ones. I asked. They said no, sorry. Such a shame.

I used a pep boy gas shock, the major issue is the mounting to the hood. The metal in this area is extremely light and a make shift bracket may not stand up to the wear and tear over time.

I would recommend that you go to Redline or similar offering, around $70 dollars. These companies will include all necessary hardware and mounting to do it right.

Then drop Randy a line at www.randode.com for a color overlay that goes around the shock. Randy has several colors to choose from so you can have that special look. If you want a vinyl decal he can do that also, it does not need to be TRD or need one at all.

Back on topic, love those radiator hoses from ZPI,

Nice looking enginge bay.
I think the yellow battery is cool cause it stands out. It would have been too much red in that one little particular area.
