Looks to me like a generic spoiler, looks alot like a oem civic spoiler minus the brake light.

yeh i think it is a generic wing. looks tiburon-ish from the side. dont like it so much but its not bad.

incorrect... its not a generic wing, it fits the tC perfectly... a generic wing shapped like that wouldnt work. i have the spoiler on my car, view my pics at my cardomain site in my "www" link below. btw, i got it off ebay. and spoilerdepot.com sells it as well, but i wouldnt have them paint it, because i have heard horror stories from their paint

I think it's the spoiler from Spoiler Depot. I ordered one a while back & have returned the 2 they've sent me because of paint defects. I'm awaiting my third one now & will post pics when I get it.

That Spoiler Looks Terrible on the Tc to me, it just doesnt have the look for me at all. It reminds of a Fe Camry Spoiler's we put on for customer's at our store...

Agreed. Once and for all, THIS SPOILER IS FROM SPOILER DEPOT & IS NOT UNIVERSAL, whether you like it or not, that is what it is.

And I also think it's the best looking spoiler. IMO, the lip spoiler is meant for a luxury car, not a sports coupe & the pedestal spoiler is a little too ricey for my taste. This spoiler is a nice, very clean addition- not too high or low.

yep...

if i wanted to prove this point to them sassy (that its not universal), id uninstall mine, take pics of where it needs to be installed... and they would understand.... well i guess i could still take pics of where my screws are in my hatch to see where it is attached...

I'm awaiting my third spoiler. I should receive it in the next few days. I already told them that if the paint isn't good again that I will refuse the charge on my credit card for whatever it takes me to get it fixed or the price listed on the site. It better be good this time! :tap:

Hey, I saw your tC on I-895 before I went back to school in August. Thought it looked incredible, graphics and all, though I kinda remembered them being a little more transparent.

I've been bugging to get one ever since, and I think it looks really good in person, really very clean.

It seems this spoiler does not appeal to the majority. It does resemble the first design of the oem civic spoiler, but I think it looks better on the Scion Tc than on the civic. The body lines and curves of that spoiler flows together with the body lines and curves of the Tc. It especially compliments the rear qtr panals and the C pillars from rear end visual angles. The factory pedestal spoiler just doesn't look right on this sporty elegant looking car. Ironically, it's a poor mans/womans BMW or Benz.
My guess is that the younger enthusiast go for the pedestal spoiler and the experienced have the taste for the arch style or the factory lip spoiler. As you all already know, younger consumers are the targets of SCION. If my guess is wrong, well so what. But in my opinion, when it comes down to matching spoiler styles to whatever car, I would be more practical than radical. Speaking of radical, what's up with the monster spoilers on those Suburu WRXs?

the monster spoilers on WRX's ARE functional, and i guess you can say make the WRX's more aggressive looking as well.

i must also add, that adding a spoiler to a FWD car is NOT very functional and are more for looks..

the wing on a wrx doesnt do anything. the car wont get fast enough for down force.

and yes, for the most part, adding a wing on any car is for looks... cause it takes massive speed for downforce to come into play

its hard to decide on a spoiler especially when our trunks are 2ft wide....lol
