i got one dent, the first day i got my car. i parked close to the building in the lot. yeah, the first stinkin day i got my car, someone opened they're door into my car. it's on the passenger side. i rubbed it out, but it has a little dimple in the metal if you view it from a sharp angle.

i always park very very far away now. its good excersize...

done a little body work in my time, and on small dents if you can get the inner door panel or whatever off, you can push the dent out with your fingers or hands, or use a small block of wood and a small hammer. I usually wait for a good hot day, so the metal is a little more flexible and the paint is too. I had a paintless dent man do our 97 toyota rav after a hail storm and he took every dent out, fortunately insurance covered most of the cost. unfortunately someone kicked the driver's side rear door in with their foot 2 wks later. I removed the door panel and hit the dent with my hand and 97% of the dent popped out. the top of the dent required some hammer work from the inside and then a little touch up paint, followed by some sanding with 800 grit, a little more paint, 1000 grit, followed by some rubbing compound. you have to look careful to see it. I went by a good body shop and they wanted $500 to fix it. I said let it go for now.

I had a shopping cart run into my car about 3 weeks ago and hit a the PERFECT angle, i mean it couldnt have been hit that way on purpose. the top of the dent is poping out and below that is going in. the top's going out do to those wounderful bars we have in our doors, and now i have 600 dollars to take it out, and paintless dent removal cant do anything

hey komik, my dad had a dent similar to that, i wanted to see if i could fix it so i took that part off and punched it out, it came out perfectly, the only thing was a feww minor scratches, he has a highlander tho!
also i had 4 small dents, but they werent inward dents, they were coming out, because when i was installing my injen intake, by mistake i was shoving it to the side of the car. so i called this guy up and for some weird reason, he sanded the dents and it came out perfect. idk how the hell he did that without paint coming off but damn he did a good job. it was $100 for him to do it tho, and he not only used sandpaper, he had these lights, lol. idk man this guy is a pro.

Three days after I got mine in July, I was parked outside a friends house who was having a BBQ and someone hit my drivers side door and ran off.

It was a dent about 10" x 10", really ugly.

I ended up having a brand new door put on and repainted.

PS: If anyone wants to buy my old door shell (drivers side), the dent was repaired by the body shop who I guess thought they were going to keep the door and sell it. $150 and it's yours...a new door shell goes for $850

I had my car for about 2 months almost. My brother backed into it, leaving a hole which is covered by my front license plate now. I got so mad, I punched the hood and left to dents on there. Upset about both now.

Had my tC for only a week before it got it's first dent. It happened while I was at work and it was parked in a garage, some jerk must have hit it with his car door.
