I have had Strup on my B for quite a while. I just switched it out for the new version because it didn't hang as low and I plan on going with coilovers soon.
Strup is the best sounding exhaust on the market, bar none!
And their build quality is incredible.
About the clips. I belived there is a clip at www.strup.us

dang, when did they drop that? i have the one that hangs low and it saddens me everytime i scrape it. it does sound great though. i might have to make a switch too.
just incase people are wondering how low it used to be, here's a pic. not the best but at least it's something.

I really like the looks of the new one. I am in Michigan and I have to deal with snow covered roads (and ice). Don't want to rip it off.
I think the new version would be OK.
Is Strup offering an upgrade path for the version 1 owners? Is is just a difffernt pipe going to the muffler?

its still one piece but yes...angle to muffler piping has been changed away from what users were calling "drift style". I'm sorry...we aren't able to take exchanges...but the strup pieces sell very quick in the scionlife classifieds. Price hasn't changed either so you know what your dealing with.
I ordered the v2 Strup exhaust but I don't get it until next wednsday. I am glad to see some pics of it, I didn't know what to expect. Potholes in DC are a killer. This exhaust looks like it'll do the trick.
yea i never had a problem with my strup exhaust hitting the floor when i had the 18's on the box. then i bought some 15's to roll around in and the thing hits alot especially when i have a little extra weight in the car and hit bad pot holes. it sounds great but i may have to either go back o stock or get something lower profil soon.
this strup i have now was 300 dont really want to spend another 300 for the new style one. i like how it sounds and how it is on an angle, if any thing i would sell it soon, i only had it for a couple months. the muffler is great, its just my box is a little too low in some areas, especially pot hole areas.
