330$ speeding ticket in my box-OUCH
I cant believe it! I used to own a Conquest tsi,a Fiero,an Eagle tallon,an Audi A4.Way faster cars and never got a single ticket .But today comming back from work doing 60 in a 40 mph zone I got my first speeding ticket.I started up a long hill and did not realize how fast I was going because there was no other traffic on the road(except for that sneaky cop).I will admit to it but $330 seems high? (that is 1 car pmt + gas for the month maybe even a pizza).

LOL i just got my first ticket ever about a month ago i blew a red light and it wasnt a cop that got me it was a camera $351 you said you had a fiero huh i currently have a 86 fiero gt with a completly done suspinsion and some motor upgrades luv it sportist car iv ever owned not much HP but a decent amout of TQ

again...sad to say i still have the record...1200$
(11 felony charge speeding ticket..)
trust me i didnt do it
just cops and thier bull____
long story short
1200$ fines.
and 180 days house arrest/no lincence

stop sign ticket. i was in a line of cars. stopped. changed CDs. went. said i ran it. $95 ticket.
im skipping the $96 class and fighting it like hell. i get pulled over so often its ridiculous.
last 4 months, 8 times. my liscense and registration are wearing out the more i pass them from cop to cop
best of luck on the 330.

I just got my notice in the mail for the ticket I got turning R at an intersection near my house w/o stopping. I do it all the time since theres a turning lane, I never thought it was "illegeal". I'm really not looking forward to paying the ticket so I'm considering contesting it to see if I can get it reduced or taken away completely.
I read some statistic somewhere that like 80% of contested tickets are either reduced or dropped completely.

Isn't it a shame when you break the driving law and get punished for it? Come on, you can't say "eff the cop!". Yeah it sucks you got pulled over for speeding, but that's your fault. He's just doing his job. But I do agree getting pulled over sucks!

That sucks, Oregon has some of the highest speeding fines I know of. I used to live in Portland and a friend of mine is in the PPD. The last(and only) time I got pulled over there it was $257 for 16 over. Wrote an nice letter to the judge and sent it in with my check. Fast forward 2 months, I got a $90 check in the mail back from the city. Good luck.

They also tend to pick on modified cars, most likely the JP cars.

Hmmmm.....well.....here's an idea. How about driving the speed limit. Do you see that big round thing near the center of your dash, with numbers on it? That's a speedometer. It will tell you how fast you are going. If you see one of those square signs on the side of the road that say "SPEED LIMIT" on them, you'll see a big number there. If your big round thing on your dash says you are going more than the big number on the "SPEED LIMIT" sign, then you should slow down.

Dang why are they so high county sheriff clocked me at 145 in a 65 and my ticket was only 220.00 and I went to a class and did community service and still got it dropped... You guys are cursed I would never pay that much for a ticket I would higher an attorney befor I gave it to the worthless state

I love these posts with people saying I was clocked doing 145 in a 65 zone, you must think we are idiots! What a bunch of crap! Buddy your ___ would of been in jail!145mph in what!,please!!!!!
