Changing pulley of s/c
I dont know a whole lot about superchargers but wouldnt installing a smaller sized pulley increase boost?
Was thinkin about if any aftermarket companys are going to start making different sized/weight pulleys for the factory supercharger to boost more.
good way to keep engine under warranty.. just change pulley back to stock if you ever take it to the dealer

Yes it will increase boost. There will most likely be aftermarket pulleys, but it might take a little while after the s/c is release for the aftermarket companies to start producing them.
well the TRD s/c is made by VORTECH which also makes pulleys for its s/c's so i am going to go out on a limb and say that pulleys for higher boost will most likely be availible... now about the ecu you may need to get an E-Manage to run more boost... depends on how good the reflash on the ECU is from the dealer after the install
theres a company down here in houston that is already makin pulleys for the tC. and they do have plans to make pulleys for the supercharger when it comes out. check them out.

Yes there will be pulleys for the TRD SC, and seeing as how there are already different pulley options available for the n/a tCs, it probably won't be very long after the release of the TRD SC.
NST, www.NonStopTuning already has a bunch of stuff out or in development for the tC and it looks like they have some stuff in development for the xA, xB, and tC SC models as well.

TRD will probably offer them sooner or later. but ofcourse, as with everything else TRD, it will be an expensive mod, will be conservative, and will take a long time to come out. The best bet will be through an aftermarket source.
The problem with TRD is they won't sell stuff that will compromise the reliability of their engines. Nismo, Sti and a few others sell parts for their respective cars but they put a lengthy disclaimer of "use at your own risk" and/or "for off-road use only". I wish TRD would do this and leave it up to the consumer to decide what is best for them and the cars they pay for.
IMO, yes. It'd be nice if they offered parts that offered 'real' performance. At 7psi, the S/C is listed at 200HP, tell me something isn't right here. 7psi = 40HP?! I'm just really hoping they are playing for the insurance vultures here and the HP will be much more in reality. They need to offer things like headers, full exhausts, cams, pulleys, ECU reflashes and better suspension parts. Things that other companies such as Nismo and STi have no problem doing as long as people understand that the parts are not CARB certified or warranted. Crap, even Chevy and Ford do this, why not Toyota?
they're not a performance company
TRD is what they use to sell parts that are marked up with a higher % than others. Yes they may add power but seriously they're not a performance company.
I'd like to see TRD offer some longblocks/crate engines like GM/SPO Performance Parts does though.. that would rock
