Here's a little suspension teaser:
Since 5Zigen no longer makes those bB springs (which were sold under their Jeff banner), I've been trying to find another good JDM suspension source, and it looks like I've found it. Actually, it's going to still be through 5Zigen, but that is because they just recently entered a partnership with kg/mm of Japan to produce their race suspension bits. kg/mm is a very well-acknowledged suspension tuning shop and manufacturer in Japan, and they've got three different spring setups for the bB. I'm going to be bringing over their 55mm drop "race" springs, which offer a drop similar to the 5Zigen Jeff springs. Price will be about the same, and the quality is also just as good; top notch progressive springs that are guaranteed not to sag or change rate through the years. (My friend's 240SX is running a set of kg/mm springs that have got to be at least a decade old, and they are still as good as new imo.) I know some of the stuff I advocate cost a little bit more than the other options available in the US right now, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of people up here who have been willing to pay the minor premium for quality parts they know they'll only need to buy once, and keep for the lifetime of their cars. Anyway, these new sprimgs will probably be here before the end of the year for sure. :)
