Default E-manage has arrived. I'm now ready for 375+hp!

I just received the greddy emanage by UPS last night. I will be going to install that as well as the boost controller. I will then have the car tuned, and I will run open downpipe. Im probably gonna tune it to 15PSI, for the ocassional Corvette that i race, then other than that ill most likely race at 12PSI.

I sure will. However I have no intentions of buying slicks, so my times will not be as good as they could be. Im guessing I will run around a 12.3-12.5 with street tires. And a 12-12.3 with slicks.

What street tires? Hope you're not talking about the Potenza's.

What have you done to the fuel system to run that kind of boost?

yea bro, i dunno about no 15 psi just yet, I hope you have injectors, fuel pump, regulator, and converted to a return line setup. I did all this and was only still able to run like 8-10 psi on the xB. Ohh yea, plan on pulling your EFI fuses cause your gonna drive your MAF sensor crazy w/ that much boost. You wont hafta do it as much as I did with the xB, but I would do it maybe once every 2-3 weeks on the tC. Im not too familiar with the tC setup yet as far as boosting goes, but I will be cause I just sold the boostbox and will be replacing it with a tC. Im going to boost it the minute someone proves to me they have a worthy fuel setup.

It wont matter, the long term fuel trim will kick in and readjust regardless if its MAP or MAF, it will just be a more accurate tune to begin with than tuning w/ a MAF setup.

well if you're not boosting then the tune isn't going to matter as much. (i.e. it won't need to add as much fuel)

and for whoever asked... WOT = wide open throttle

You're missing the most important point. Your injectors lose flow as boost rises because the fuel pressure is fixed at 50 psi. If the injector flows 330cc at 50 psi, then it will only flow 264cc at 10 psi of boost. All the MAP in the world can't fix that.

Remember, fuel flow is directly related to pressure drop across the pintle, NOT fuel rail pressure, but fuel rail MINUS manifold pressure. So under vacuum, the injector flows more, and under pressure (boost) it flows less.

How do you fix that without indexing fuel pressure to manifold pressure.
(Wait, either nobody knows, or those who know aren't telling, because I've been asking this rather fundamental question for almost a year now, and the only answer I've heard is we converted to a return style fuel system).

Forget the brakes, if he shears a drive axle, brakes won't matter.
